Bruce County Public Library is offering seed libraries at each of its branches.
The seed libraries offer free seeds to anyone interested in growing local plants that are resilient to weather, soil nutrients, and local pests.
The library says it also helps communities address food sustainability.
The Teeswater branch will also soon be adding a hydroponic unit, which will grow herbs for patrons to have for recipes.
The seed libraries are free to use with your library card.
