Masking rules are being relaxed at hospitals in Clinton and Seaforth.
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says masks will no longer be required in non-clinical areas of their hospitals.
This includes: hallways, elevators, cafeterias, meeting rooms, and administrative offices.
The HPHA says clinic areas of their healthcare facilities will still require face coverings, including: inpatient units, emergency departments, outpatient clinics, imaging, laboratories, and waiting rooms.
Hospital-provided medical grade masks will continue to be provided with masking stations set up throughout HPHA hospital sites, not just at entrances.
