The Owen Sound Attack added three new players to its organization through the Ontario Hockey League U18 Priority Selection on Wednesday.
The Attack had the 10th overall pick in the first round, selecting 16-year-old defenceman Sam Ethier from the Rockland Nationals U18 program in the Ottawa area.
The 6-foot, 181-pound blueliner scored 21 goals and added 23 assists in 41 games for the Nationals during the 2022-23 season.
Ethier was one of three players selected by the Attack in the OHL U18 Priority Selection.
Owen Sound took goaltender Jack Martin from the Elgin Middlesex Canucks program in the second round, 30th overall. The 17-year-old Wallaceburg native had a 1.81 goals against average in 19 games for the Canucks in the 2022-23 season.
With their third-round pick (47th overall), the Attack selected forward Brendan Williams from the North Central Predators U18 program. Williams, 17, is from Phelpston, Ont. He had 11 points in 35 games for the North Central Predators last season.
