Huntsville OPP is currently investigating a break-and-enter to a business in the Town of Huntsville.
On April 22nd at 5:50 a.m., police responded to the report of a break-and-enter in the downtown area.
A security alarm alerted an employee who confronted a male leaving the business carrying stolen items.
The male proceeded to drop the items and fled on foot from the business southbound on Brunel Road from Main Street.
The male was unsuccessful in removing any items, but did cause damage to the business.
The male is described as white, 5’8″ to 5’10” tall, bulky build, wearing black pants, black shoes, black sweater or coat with hood up and wearing gloves.
Officers from Huntsville Detachment with the assistance of Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Canine Unit searched the area and were unable to locate the male.
