Goderich council has received a letter from the province confirming grant funding that would help with some road resurfacing.
The money will go toward improving the road surrounding the Mill Street railway tracks.
The correspondence that was sent from the office of the Minister for Transportation, Caroline Mulroney, disclosed that the municipality would be receiving $194,157 for the project.
The funding is being provided by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s 2023-24 Connecting Links Program.
