Grey Bruce Public Health is asking for help finding the owner of a dog after a biting incident in Markdale over the weekend.
Public health says the incident occurred around dusk on a Markdale trail on April 16, in which a medium-sized black dog, which was with a man but off its leash at the time of the incident, bit a woman who was walking another dog.
Public health adds they need to confirm if the dog is not infectious with rabies so the victim can avoid receiving any rabies treatment.
