Dufferin OPP were able to recover an excavator that was reported stolen from a property in Amaranth.
On January 28th, police were called to a property on County Road 109 for the theft of an excavator and trailer.
On April 6th, as the result of an ongoing investigation, officers with the Community Street Crime Unit recovered the vehicle from an address in Wellandport, Ontario.
No charges have been laid in relation to the investigation, and investigators believe that the person who had possession of the excavator was believed to do so lawfully.
