Update:
The lights are apparently back on in Owen Sound’s east end after a power outage this morning.
Callers to the Bayshore Broadcasting Newsroom confirm the outage ended around 7:20 a.m.
Hydro One has yet to confirm the restoration and clear it from its online outage map.

There’s a major power outage affecting nearly 2,000 homes and businesses in Owen Sound’s east end.
The outage is also affecting parts of the Municipality of Meaford, including Annan, Sydenham and Woodford.
Hydro One says crews have been dispatched and the current expected restoration time is around 8 a.m.
There’s also a few smaller outages scattered across Bruce and Grey counties this morning as thunderstorms pass through the region.
