South Bruce OPP are looking to fill a cruiser this weekend by collecting food bank donations.
On Saturday April 1st, police will be stationed at the Walkerton Foodland and the Sobey’s in Kincardine from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., then Kaufman’s Independent in Walkerton and The No Frills in Kincardine from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The donations collected in Walkerton will be delivered to the Walkerton Foodbank, while the donations gathered in Kincardine will be heading to the Kincardine Foodbank.
Police are asking residents to come out and help fill up the cruiser with non-perishable food items.
“All donations will be used locally, and our food banks expect to see an increase in demand over the upcoming holiday weekend in April,” say police.
