The Board of Directors for the Hanover, Bentinck & Brant Agricultural Society has approved the society’s strategic plan.
The new plan moves forward with seven goals over the next four years.
The president of the Society says that the plan is full of meaning and purpose, and was created with contributions from their members.
HBBAS operates the Hanover Raceway and hosts the Hanover Fair.
The seven goals are:
1. Increase HBBAS awareness and community presence
2. Developing clear organizational policies and procedures
3. Ensuring HBBAS financial sustainability
4. Strengthening Board and volunteer recruitment and retention
5. Completing the operational transformation of the new Hall
6. Increasing community involvement in the Fair
7. Establishing the Hanover Raceway as a destination location and experience
