Grey County is looking for public input in two different surveys.
One, is on the Grey County Economic Development, Tourism and Culture Master Plan. The plan is meant to provide direction and guidance on the County’s economic development and tourism activities.
The goal in creating the plan is to strengthen and diversify the local economy.
On its website, the County says, “The world has changed dramatically over the past few years. The business environment is different. Given this point in time, the team has coined this strategy, the Grey’t Reset, seeing the opportunity to account for all of the changes and collectively determine the best way forward through programs and support.”
They’re looking for input in one survey to help them further understand Grey County’s economy and find opportunities for sustained growth.
That survey asks eight questions about what makes the county a good place to do business, what are some opportunities for attracting business, what are some challenges to doing business, and asks about a few other priorities.

Meanwhile, the County also has a survey specifically about Grey Roots Museum and Archives and how it will fit into that master plan.
That survey asks about what is good about Grey Roots, and anything you might find challenging about it, possible ways to overcome those challenges and possible further ways of utilizing Grey Roots, as well as what your future vision for Grey Roots would be.
You can answer that survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GreyRootsVisioning
The deadline for both surveys is Monday, April 3rd.
You’re invitation to participate in the development of Grey County’s Economic Development, Tourism & Culture Master Plan.
Complete both #surveys by Monday, April 3, 2023.
