The annual Scarecrow Invasion & Family Festival in Meaford was revived earlier this year.
Initially, the long running festival was cancelled for 2023 due to a shortage of committee members and volunteers.
However,, an upswing in support within the community revived the annual activity which is slated to climax in September
Donna Earls the event chair for the Scarecrow Invasion & Family Festival was a guest with The great Paul Hill on the 560 CFOS Morning Show and she admitted the initial decision to cancel was not well received.
