Despite the snowy weather over the weekend, the Kincardine Chamber of Commerce is happy with the outcome of Blinky’s Bash.
It was held on Saturday, March 18th, was the last scheduled event to take place around Queen Street before the start of the Downtown Dig, which is scheduled to begin before the end of March, weather permitting.
Tammy Schneider, the Executive Director of the Kincardine & District Chamber of Commerce, says that a bit of snow didn’t discourage anybody from taking part.
“All things considered, you can never control the weather when you do an outdoor event. It could be rain in the summer, or snow in the winter,” she shared with council.
“When I made my continuous loops of all the businesses involved, the stores were full.”
