The Town of Wasaga beach has declared March 20-24 on-line safety and wellness week.
As part of efforts to educate and inform parents and students, the town is hosting Carol Todd as a keynote speaker.
She is the mother of Amanda Todd of B-C who took her own life after she was exploited by an on-line predator.
She will be tellig her story to local students this week at area schools.
The Town will also be hosting a panel discussion about online exploitation and youth mental health on Wednesday evening, with Carol Todd as guest speaker. It runs from 7-9 pm and participants are encouraged to register online.
