The Special Investigations Unit has finished its investigation into a collision that involved an OPP officer in the New Tecumseth area.
The director of the SIU, Joseph Martino, says he has found no reasonable grounds to believe that the officer committed a criminal offence in connection with the collision.
An 18-year-old man was injured in the crash, which happened on November 22nd, 2022.
The officer was on patrol on Highway 89 in an unmarked cruiser when they started pursuing a driver for speeding.
The driver fled before losing control, hitting the ditch, and then rolling the car.
A passenger in the vehicle suffered a broken jaw.
