A waterfront road in Orillia will be shut down as of Monday, as work continues on a major project.
For the next month and a half, crews will be digging up Centennial Drive and upgrading sewer and water pipes, burying power lines and reconstructing and realigning the road. Centennial Drive will be closed between Canice Street and the Esplanade.
Emergency vehicle access and access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
Reminder: as part of the Centennial Drive Reconstruction Phase 2 Project, the Centennial Boat Launch Parking Lot will be closed beginning today, March 6, along with several roads in the area. See map and details: https://t.co/4KeXwylLS9 pic.twitter.com/Gbb7Qpy92w
