South Georgian Bay OPP have laid charges after a call to a home in Tay Township.
Officers were called to a residence on Seventh Avenue, where the man was on the property causing a disturbance and then fled the scene.
OPP were able to identify the suspect as a 37-year-old Kingston man with ties to the Simcoe County area.
He was arrested by uniformed officers at a business on King Street in Midland yesterday afternoon.
The man remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
Police say that further information will be released as it becomes available.
