The Municipality of Meaford is placing roads under a reduced load restriction.
The restriction will be 5 tonnes per axle and will be in effect from March 1st until May 1st.
The load restriction periods are weather-dependent and could extend as late as May 31st.
The load weight is restricted on roads throughout the municipality.
The town says that individuals may apply for an exemption permit, and those applications may be made to the Manager of Transportation and Fleet Services.
