One person suffered significant injuries after losing control of his snowmobile yesterday evening.
Just after 11 pm, South Georgian Bay OPP officers and Simcoe County Paramedics were called to a snowmobile collision in the Lafontaine area.
The collision occurred on OFSC trail #303 approximately 1 km from Chemin Du Loup in Tiny Township.
The 24-year-old operator of the machine was found at a nearby residence. He was taken to hospital and later airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital by ORNGE Air Ambulance.
The scene is being examined by members of the OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit.
