
There are plenty of activities around the local region to celebrate Family Day.
There will be a free skate at the CDRC in Shelburne today from 2 to 4.
The Alder Recreation Centre in Orangeville has activities for all ages from 11 am to 3 pm including crafts, a photo booth, and a Paw Patrol character visit, and the library branch there will be open.
Free skating for families will also be offered in both rinks at Alder throughout the day, you don’t need to pre-register but wristbands are required to enter and will be provided 30 minutes prior to the skate time.

Meanwhile, The Museum of Dufferin is holding some activities today for Family Day.
From 11 to 4, there will be free kids’ crafts, a scavenger hunt, and museum tours.
The government of Ontario is also offering fishing that you can do without having to purchase a licence.
They do warn people to fish safely and never venture out on ice that is not thick enough.
