Gavin Hayes would score the game winner with just over three minutes to play as the Flint Firebirds double the Owen Sound Attack 4-2.
Amadeus Lombardi and Braedon Kressler both had a goal and an assist in the victory for Flint at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre Saturday night.
For Owen Sound, Nolan Seed had two assists.
The Attack will be off until Feb. 18 when they play host to Saginaw.
