
That’s three straight wins for the Owen Sound Attack.
Jackson Stewart had his first goal since joining the Attack as part of a four-goal second period, as Owen Sound cruised past the Guelph Storm 6-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night at the Sleeman Centre.
Kaleb Lawrence, Deni Goure, Colby Barlow, Sam Sedley and Cedrick Guindon also scored for the Attack, who never trailed in the game.
Michael Buchinger, Matthew Poitras and Ryan McGuire provided the offence for Guelph.
Corbin Votary made 16 saves in the win. Patrick Leaver stopped 16 taking the loss. Brayden Gillepsie played the back half of the game for Guelph, stopping 10 of 11 shots he faced.
The Attack outshot Guelph 32-19 while going 0 for 2 on the power play; the Storm finished 2 for 6.
Owen Sound (24-15-4-1) returns to action Saturday night at home against the Sudbury Wolves. Game time is 7:30 p.m., at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
