One woman has died and two others were injured following a two-vehicle collision in Amaranth
Dufferin County OPP and Dufferin County EMS arrived at the scene around 4:30 Saturday afternoon and found a four-door sedan had collided with a pickup truck.
The 32-year-old female driver of the sedan, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
The driver and passenger in the pickup sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The Mono-Amaranth Townline between 15th and 5th Sideroad, as well as County Road 10 between Second Line and Blind Line, had to be closed for around 7 hours while police completed their investigation.
The investigation is continuing and anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Dufferin OPP 1-888-310-1122.
