Saugeen Shores Police have charged a local man with impaired driving after receiving a call from a local establishment saying a man had left in a vehicle after several attempts to convince him to call a taxi.
Police say it happened late Wednesday night.
They say they located the driver and quickly determined he was impaired.
He was transported to the station for breath testing.
As a result of their investigation, police say a 64-year-old Saugeen Shores man has been charged with impaired driving.
His licence has been suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
