Township of North Huron
North Huron is getting some federal funding to spruce up a trail in Blyth.
The township announced a $60 thousand investment from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, for enhancements to the Blyth Greenway Trailhead.
The trail is situated on the former CPR rail lines and runs adjacent to the Blyth Brook, and is part of the Guelph-To-Goderich Rail Trail.
The enhancements include a surfaced parking area, information kiosks, and designed seating areas.
North Huron officials say the investment will help the Township attract new visitors and drive economic growth.
