Orillia OPP has charged a 17-year-old with Attempt to Commit murder.
The accused who was arrested after a report of gunshots at an Orillia residence on January 10th has also been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and is being held in custody.
The Accused’s identity is protected under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police found bullet holes in the residence after receiving a 911 call at 2 am Tuesday.
Another person – a 19 yr old from Orillia has been charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm.
He’s been released from custody and is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Orillia at a later date.
