On Saturday the Durham Thundercats will host the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks in WOAA Senior Hockey action.
The game is significant in the standings as Durham, Saugeen Shores, Creemore & Tavistock all sit tied for 4th in the standings with 21 points.
But Saturday’s game is also a celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the Durham 72’s who were the forerunners to the Thundercats.
Bruce Marshall of the Thundercats spoke to Fred Wallace and related the game and the festivities are big.
Game time Saturday night is 7:30 pm.
