Seven charges have been laid, following a break-in to a homeless shelter in Goderich.
Huron County OPP say a transient man had previously been banned from the shelter at the United Church on North Street, due to his behaviour and non-compliance.
According to reports, the accused returned and forced his way into the church, and was found crawling through the first and second floor ceiling space before falling through the drywall and causing damage.
Police say a 32 year old man of no fixed address has been charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Mischief Under $5,000
- Resist Peace Officer
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 4 counts
