Barrie will host a police funeral Wednesday morning for slain OPP Constable Greg Pierzchala.
Like a police funeral held in October for two fallen South Simcoe Police officers, the service will be held at the Sadlon Arena.
The service is not open to the public but it will be live streamed via the OPP’s social media channels.
The public is also welcome to pay their respects along the funeral procession route which will travel from a funeral home in the city’s north end, to the arena for the 11 a.m. service.
A man and a woman, have been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the constable’s death.
