A local Huntsville author is holding a public launch for her new book soon.
Diana Snowden’s book ‘Dreams & Everyday Miracles’ is about mystical events that occur to and around us which can often go missed.
It draws on such stories from locals and those living far and wide. Snowden herself says she drew inspiration for it via dreams and the wisdom gleaned from ongoing spiritual occurrences.
It took several years to come together and at one point following the suicide of her son Joel she felt she couldn’t continue writing it.
But as Joel was one to whom she’d confided a special dream to in the past, she mustered the will to continue with the help of a friend who also offered to edit it in concert with Diana’s husband.
Snowden expects many people will see themselves in her book. She says visions don’t have to happen in dreams exclusively either, but in everyday experiences too, and interactions with others.
She suggests writing one’s dreams down and generally becoming more aware of the spiritual dimension and its influence in order to ‘see it’.
“These are not coincidences,” she says. “These are God-incidents, for me.”
The book launch is happening at the Huntsville Public Library on December 21st at 2 pm.
