Hanover Police are investigating a disturbance at a convenience store where a man was reportedly attacked by another man armed with a hammer.
Hanover Police Chief Christopher Knoll says on Twitter, both the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
The suspect was arrested & the hammer was seized. A 28-year-old male of no fixed address faces a total of seven charges including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous to public peace & several counts of breach of probation.
Knoll says the victim received a fractured skull.
He adds their investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
