Saugeen Shores Police say they’ve received recent reports about fraudsters targeting seniors using so-called “grandparent scams.”
They usually involve a caller telling the victim a grandchild needs money to get out of a legal situation.
Saugeen Shores Police say if you receive a call like this and are unsure about the claim being made, hang up and call your local police service to assist.
