A candlelight vigil is being held on Tuesday, December 6th, at the Huntsville Public Library to honour and remember the women and girls who died of femicide in 2022 in Ontario.
A candle will be lit for each woman and girl who was murdered in 2022 and each name will be read to help remember and honor them.
The vigil is part of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women.
It’s happening between 4 and 6 pm in the library’s Friends Room.
