UPDATE:
The power outage has been restored, according to Hydro One.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Hydro One is reporting a power outage in the Wiarton area affecting about 125 customers.
The current estimated restoration time is 8:45 a.m.
According to the Student Transportation Service Consortium of Grey Bruce, Peninsula Shores School is closed today due to the power outage.
Board communications officer Jamie Pettit says in an email students at Peninsula Shores will switch to remote learning today where possible.
