Springwater Township is gearing up for the return of the CP Holiday Train.
The decorated train is back on the rails for the first time in three years.
The train will roll into Midhurst at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday and make a stop at Highway 26 and Anne Street North.
The CP Holiday Train features a boxcar that transforms into a stage and a lineup of musical talent.
The tour raises money, food, and awareness for local food banks.
The event is free to attend, but people are asked to bring food or cash donations.
Parking, with shuttle service, will be available at the Simcoe County Museum and Tree Nursery Sports Park.
There’s more information on the township website.
