The Avon Maitland District School Board is hosting several job fairs, in search of support staff.
Among the positions needing personnel are Custodians, Secretaries (school office and other), Educational Assistants, Early Childhood Educators, and Technical Resource Assistants.
Some of the positions are 10-month contracts (i.e. have summers off) and others work throughout the year.
Jobs fairs for the positions begin in December, at the following locations:
- Thursday, December 1, 2022 — 3:30 – 5:30 pm — FE Madill SS — Box 160, 231 Madill Dr., Wingham
- Wednesday, December 7, 2022 — 10:00 am – 2:00 pm — The Centre for Employment & Learning – Goderich — 41 West St., Goderich
- Tuesday, December 13, 2022 — 3:30 – 5:30 pm — Goderich District Collegiate Institute — 260 South St., Goderich
- Thursday, December 15, 2022 — 10:00 am – 2:00 pm — The Centre for Employment & Learning – Clinton — 60 Mary St., Clinton
