Seven people have been arrested in connection with a robbery investigation in Orillia.
Police say on Wednesday morning, they were called about a disturbance at a home in the city’s south end, where they determined a robbery with a weapon had taken place.
While officers were responding, they stopped a vehicle which was believed to be involved, but it fled the scene and was located a short time later near a home, where seven suspects were taken into custody.
Police say they include five adults and two young offenders, who are now facing a total of 35 criminal charges.
Police seized two imitation firearms, two knives, a quantity of currency, and a small quantity of Fentanyl as a result of this investigation.
