Demonstrators will gather today in Orillia to oppose the Ford government’s environmental policies.
They will be at the office of local Conservative MPP Jill Dunlop starting at 10 this morning.
The activists believe Bill 23 — which the province says will speed up the building of new homes– will also remove protections for environmentally sensitive areas.
They are also against a new highway known as the Bradford by-pass, which will pave over some wetland areas along south Lake Simcoe.
