A group of affordable housing units are now being constructed in the Town of Goderich.
The County of Huron approved a bid for the construction of two triplexes along Bennett Street in August, for a cost of just over $2.1 million.
County officials say six new one-bedroom units will make up the triplexes, which means “the units better align with the current need for housing in Goderich.”
The units are being developed after a fire damaged a single-detached home on the property in 2020.
