OPP in Bracebridge had to close part of the southbound lanes of Highway 11 at Bethune Drive following a single-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer.
Just after 10 o’clock this morning, Bracebridge OPP, the Gravenhurst Fire Department, and the Muskoka Emergency Medical Services were called to the crash on Highway 11.
The tractor-trailer was hauling a load of lumber that spilled across the roadway and shoulder.
The road closure was to ensure that removing the lumber could be completed. The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The road is expected to re-open once the debris is removed.
Updated: OPP partially re-opened Highway 11 after 5 pm on Saturday, and said it would be fully open once all debris was cleared.
