Caledon OPP have charged a Welland resident with theft charges after a weeks-long investigation.
On September 17th, OPP started a stolen vehicle investigation. The vehicle was reported stolen from the Toronto area and believed to be at a storage facility in Caledon.
Once the Caledon Street Crime Unit was given a search warrant, they were able to find the vehicle.
On October 13th, they were able to charge a 26-year-old from Welland with theft over $5000 of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
The accused it set to appear in court in Orangeville on December 29th.
