The Kincardine Fire Department is hosting an open house to recruit more firefighters.
On Wednesday evening (October 19) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., those who are interested can go to the fire station to learn more.
The department says on Twitter, they are looking for energetic, dependable people to join the station as paid, on-call firefighters.
They say, “If you can commit the time to attend emergency calls both day and night, as well as to attend regular bi-weekly and other special training sessions, we are looking for you.”
They say spouses and partners are also encouraged to attend the open house.
