1) Why are you running?
I’m running for council to represent all citizens of the Municipality off Meaford equally no matter of financial or social background .
2) Are there any steps municipalities can take to help ease cost of living concerns?
As a Council we must lobby the County and upper tier Governments to assit and provide the supports we need.Whether it be affordable housing,or mental health supports to promote a healthy lifestyle.
3) What are your ideas for economic development in your municipality?
We must support all developments that are proposed for our area ,to collect all the development fees we can to assit us with our infrastructure costs,instead of putting it on the taxpayers burden,which will also assist the small businesses of Meaford.
4) Do you think a municipality has a role to play in the recruitment and retention of physicians and other healthcare workers?
Yes we must work very hard in bringing more Doctors to our beautiful area to assist us in keeping a very healthy lifestyle,and in turn they also enjoy a very healthy life for them and their families.
5) Should the municipality pursue more shared services with neighbouring municipalities?
NO
6) What issue do you believe is a top priority for Meaford to tackle during the next term?
Our infrastructure and our finances.With out do strain on our citizens.
