To help inform you about some of the perspectives of candidates running for mayor and council in the upcoming municipal election, Bayshore Broadcasting News sent a few questions to all those seeking office in municipalities across Grey and Bruce counties.
In South Bruce, candidates were asked:
- Why are you running?
- Are there any steps municipalities can take to ease cost of living concerns? If so, what measures would you support?
- What are your ideas for economic development in your municipality?
- Do you think the municipality has a role to play in the recruitment and retention of physicians and other healthcare workers?
- What is your view on South Bruce being a potential host municipality for a deep geologic repository to store spent nuclear fuel?
