Be even more careful spending tax dollars. Advocate to upper levels of government what we see and experience in our community.
3) What are your ideas for economic development in your municipality?
Stronger partnership with Bruce County along with economic development initiatives from Arran-Elderslie staff.
4) Do you think the municipality has a role to play in the recruitment and retention of physicians and other healthcare workers?
We have had a role for my 12 years on council and will continue to. Medical Clinic ownership, Hospital Foundation support, and Physician Recruitment are large examples. Nurse recruitment is vital for the future of Health Care in Arran-Elderslie
5) How do you think Arran-Elderslie can best position itself to attract both businesses and families to the municipality?
Shopping local. Residents who support each other keep money and investment in our community and make us more attractive to others.
