Government services and many businesses are shut down today across Simcoe County.
Schools, banks, and the post office are closed. Most grocery stores are as well.
But the Simcoe County Museum is open between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
There is no transit service in Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood, Midland, or Penetanguishene.
Simcoe County LINX Transit will not operate with the exception of Route Four, between Wasaga Beach and Collingwood which is on a Sunday schedule. GO Transit is also on a Sunday schedule today.
There is no trash or recycling pick up in Barrie or Orillia today and collection during the coming week will occur one day later. But there will be no changes for those whose curbside collection is provided by the County of Simcoe.
