A heavy police presence in an area northeast of Mount Forest yesterday afternoon related to a threats investigation.
Grey Bruce OPP say they were called to the area of Grey Road 9 and Southgate Sideroad 3 around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of threats made toward an individual, possibly involving a firearm.
OPP closed Grey Road 9 between Southgate Sideroads 47 and 49 for public safety reasons.
About an hour and a half after police officers arrived on scene, one person was taken into custody.
Grey Bruce OPP have not released many additional details about the investigation, but say there is no longer a threat to public safety.
