There are two tree planting events today in the Town of The Blue Mountains.
Members of the public are invited to attend or volunteer at both.
More than 25 large trees will be planted at two locations.
This morning at ten with help from the Rotary Club, trees will be planted at Heritage Park on Kandahar Lane.
The second tree planting will start at 2 this afternoon at Delphi Point Park on Highway 26.
The event has been organized by the town’s tree trust organization and the Thornbury-Clarksburg Rotary Club.
