A group called Ripple of Kindness Barrie has set up a go fund me page for the families of six Barrie young people, who died in a car crash on the weekend.
The page had already raised about 40 thousand dollars of its 60 thousand dollar goal by Tuesday morning. The group is comprised of local women who support charities.
A statement on the page says this is beyond their usual scope, but there has been an overwhelming outpour from a community wanting to help.
Barrie police have not yet released the names those who died, but they have been identified by family and friends, and are name named on the page as
Curtis King, Haley Marin, Jersey Mitchell, Jason O’Connor, River Wells, and Luke West.
They died when a car crashed in a construction zone in the city’s south end.
PLEASE SHARE.
