The Avon Maitland District School Board is preparing families for the return of classes in two weeks.
In the board’s Back To School update, officials say students and staff will be asked to screen for COVID-19 symptoms before attending using the Ontario School Screening Tool and rapid antigen tests.
“Masks and other protective equipment will be available, ventilation and enhanced cleaning will continue to be a focus, and hand hygiene will be promoted,” says the AMDSB.
While the AMDSB says the majority of students will be back in the classroom, a full online (remote) learning option will be available for the 2022-2023 academic year.
